The Create List (a.k.a. Review File) Institutional Assignments, Size Allotments, List Numbers, and Total Number of Records are listed below in the two tables.

The first table lists the Institution and its corresponding Create List Assignments.

The second comprehensive table states the entire Create List Assignments, List Numbers, Record Allotments, and the total number of records used by the consortium.

Etiquette: If you plan to use a Create List that is not allotted to your institution, please ask the owning institution's permission before using the file. Using a file without permission can result in the file being deleted without notice.

Naming convention for Review Files:

All review files should be named as follows:

Two-letter bibliographic location code
Your last name or III initials
Short description or subject of list
The date after which the list is no longer needed

Examples:

SC jpryan orders invoiced 9/20/01
TL Satzer items 949e equals c. 2 10/15/01
MA guthro material type a 9/25/01

Additional Recommendations

As much as possible, use Create Lists at less busy times. It's a good idea to check the tasks running on the system before you start. See "Tasks being done by each login/port" in the text-based Innopac (the path to this is MIT). If several people are already running Create Lists, wait until the load on the system is lighter. Large lists can be started at the end of the day to run overnight.
