On July 16, the CLIC Marketing Task Force completed the last focus group to gather data for a CLIC-wide marketing campaign this fall. Over the past three months, the Task Force has conducted ten focus groups to gauge students’ opinions and awareness of library reference services at CLIC member institutions.
Using data collected at the focus groups, the Task Force plans to develop a marketing campaign to promote member library reference services. The Task Force is also working on a project to increase awareness of CLIC borrowing and traditional ILL. Both campaigns will be rolled out later this year.
In October, members of the Task Force will present a program at MLA on their experience working with the focus groups.
