PHASE 2 – INTOTA ASSESSMENT (IA). The Implementation Team met today with our implementation manager and ProQuest’s IA specialist to discuss questions related to the COUNTER DRS forms. Each Team representative needs to complete a DRS form for his or her library’s e-resources for Intota Assessment. The deadline for each library to do a first pass at inputting data is June 30. Simultaneously, Steve Waage at CLIC is working with the implementation manager to load and test catalog data from Millennium. Our Team goal is to have Intota Assessment in place by the end of the summer, with training for CLIC library staff later in August.
PHASE 3 – INTOTA E. The Implementation Team will begin work on CLIC’s transition to Intota E in the fall. Prior to CLIC’s beginning Phase 3, ProQuest will present a demonstration of Intota E for CLIC library staff later this summer. Stay tuned for further information on the demo date and location.
PROJECT MANAGEMENT. The Implementation Team is now using Basecamp to manage the various projects associated with CLIC’s multi-phase migration to the Intota Management System. In addition to providing a single place for the Implementation Team to house documents, deadlines, and discussions, an important feature of Basecamp is the ability to loop other CLIC library staff into discussions on different aspects of the implementation processes.
