Celebrate a Milestone! Implementation Team Update June 2, 2014

PHASE 1 IS COMPLETE! The Implementation Team is pleased to announce the launch of our new discovery service. In Phase 1 of the implementation of CLIC’s shared Intota Management System, seven libraries successfully transitioned to Summon 2.0.  Six libraries made the transition from WorldCat Local and one library upgraded from Summon 1.0. Kudos to our implementation manager Ashley DeHaye and others at ProQuest for going above and beyond to meet our launch deadline!
SUMMON 2.0 ENHANCEMENTS. ProQuest is releasing Summon 2.0 enhancements on June 3, 2014, which will appear in the CLIC Summon sites at the end of the week. Stay tuned for further information after the enhancements are live.

SUMMON 2.0 INFORMATION SHEET FOR LIBRARY STAFF. The Implementation Team has drafted an information sheet on Summon 2.0 for CLIC library staff. Please see your Implementation Team representative for a version of the information sheet tailored to your library.

PHASE 2 – INTOTA ASSESSMENT. The Implementation Team has begun the process of setting up Intota Assessment for the CLIC libraries. During June and July, the Team will complete COUNTER DRS forms for each library and will load and test catalog data from Millennium. Training for CLIC library staff on Intota Assessment will be offered in August.
