CLIC’s Implementation Team (I-Team) has named Greg Argo and Meg Manahan as co-chairs during the year of migration. Our thanks to Meg and Greg for agreeing to serve! Meg and Greg presented at CLIC’s Annual Chair Camp this week to bring committee chairs up-to-date on the I-Team Committee liaisons program and to provide a preview of upcoming work assignments. FY16-17 is going to be a busy year for everyone in CLIC!
In addition to assigning tasks to existing CLIC Committees, the I-Team plans to appoint ad hoc working groups for specific tasks, including P2E Plus and rule simplification. Further information will be posted in CLIC News as the working groups are developed. Stay tuned!
The I-Team has completed a Guiding Principles document which will be sent to the CLIC Board this week for consideration at the August 24 Board meeting. We will post the final version of the Guiding Principles on the Migration web page after formal approval by the Board.
Please visit CLIC’s Migration web page for up-to-date information on our migration. We recently updated the Alma Academy section to add the length of the webinar recordings and a description of the upcoming September 1 webinar on Integrations. Links to login to the September webinars will be posted later this month.
We encourage CLIC member library staff to sign up for the clic-migration list. The purpose of the CLIC Migration list is to provide a forum for all CLIC members to share information and work together across institutions, committees, and task forces to successfully complete the CLIC implementation of Alma and Primo. The CLIC Implementation Team will use this list to keep all members updated on migration activities.
Please contact your library’s Implementation Team representative if you have questions.
