Congratulations to Greg Argo of UST Libraries! During UST’s implementation of Ex Libris Leganto, Greg dove in headfirst to learn everything about the new product’s functionality and quickly became the leading expert.
Last week, a Leganto Case Study prepared by Greg Argo, Associate Director for Access and Digital Services at University of St. Thomas, and Dani Guzman, Director of Product Marketing at Ex Libris, was published on Ex Libris’ Community site.
This week, Greg is sharing his Leganto expertise at the ELUNA conference. The panel presentation is titled, “That’s the Ticket! Using Leganto to Ensure Your Library Is Where Your Students Are At (Part 2).”
The presentation description reads, “Most academic teams, be they faculty or staff, are always struggling with the question of how to get the attention of the student when you need them to see or read something. When the answer emerged: “the course management system” we all paid attention and realized, efficiently integrating the library into the CMS was a very good idea. Leganto is gaining traction in those North American Library sites using Alma, as a very good way to achieve this goal. Attend this session to hear why these libraries have recently moved in this direction and how they’re planning their implementation and rollout. Insights and ideas will be yours to take home to your library!”
