CLIC Turns 50 in 2019!

CLIC will be 50 years old on April 15, 2019. In honor of this occasion, CLIC is seeking memories for an online exhibit celebrating our 50 years. We are looking for photographs, images of 3D objects, or documents that have significance to CLIC’s history. Please search through your files and send us materials depicting events in CLIC’s history. Thanks!

How to send in items for the CLIC 50th Collection

In order for items to be included in the collection, you will need to provide a digital file of the item you are submitting (appropriate file types include JPG or PDF). If you are a staff member at any CLIC library, the digital file can be uploaded to the CLIC 50th Anniversary Google Drive folder. If you are not currently a CLIC member library staffer, please email your files to Maureen Fitzgerald at maureen.fitzgerald@clic.edu

In addition to providing the digital file, you will need to fill out a metadata form to provide information about the object. Required data about the object includes a title, description (describing who, what, where, why, and when), and an approximate date (at least the year.) You must also include a file name for your object. This file name should include the file type extension; for example, CLIC-awards-2017.jpg.
