The following is a list of frequently asked questions relating to CLIC’s migration to Alma and Primo.  If your question is not addressed below, we encourage you to contact your Implementation Team representative.  Additional CLIC Migration information is also available on the CLIC Migration web page  and the CLIC Migration Google Drive.

When was the final cutover for migration? May 31, 2017

Who is my Implementation Team representative? Each CLIC member library has one or two representatives on the Implementation Team. See the Implementation Team web page or the Migration web page for a list of representatives by library.

How long will we have access to Millennium? CLIC member library staff will have backend access to Millennium data through June 28, 11:59pm. Designated staff will have access to Millennium to purge patron and acq data on June 29-30.  All access will end on June 30.

How long will we have access to Intota? August 31, 2017.

How do I access information on the Migration Google Drive? CLIC member library staff who are subscribed to the clic-migration list have access to the Migration Google Drive. If you have problems accessing the Migration Drive, please contact Ruth Dukelow at the CLIC Office.


What is the name of CLIC’s Primo search? The new name for CLIC’s Primo search is CLICsearch.

When did we switch from Summon to CLICsearch? May 31, 2017.

How can we access our CLICsearch test sites? Use the links below to connect to CLIC Primo test sites:

How will CLIC libraries do ILL after the cutover? CLIC libraries will continue to use ILLiad and OCLC for ILL with libraries outside of CLIC.

Training and Certification

What is Alma Certification and when is the training? Who needs to be certified? Ex Libris provides monthly online training and testing to approve select library staff as Certified Alma Administrators.  Staff interested in taking the certification training and examination need to register with Ex Libris.

Is there certification for Primo? Ex Libris is not currently offering Primo certification, but they have indicated that they may begin offering Primo certification in the future.

Where can I find links to recordings of past training webinars? Recordings of all Ex Libris webinars are available to CLIC member library staff in the Ex Libris training webinars document on the Migration Drive.
